Board Member (Volunteer Position)

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote with occasional in-person meetings as required)
  • Commitment: 4–6 meetings per year

Description:

As a Board Member, you will provide strategic leadership and governance to support the mission and growth of Nation Builders University.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in board meetings and strategic planning (primarily online).
  • Support fundraising and university advancement initiatives.
  • Represent NBU in the community.

Requirements:

  • Senior leadership or board experience preferred.
  • Strong commitment to education, leadership, and community development.

Board Advisor

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote with occasional in-person advisory engagements)
  • Commitment: Flexible

Description:

As a Board Advisor, you will leverage your expertise in education, finance, strategy, or governance to advise Nation Builders University leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on organizational growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in critical discussions and special projects.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in education, nonprofit management, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in an advisory or consulting capacity.

Contractor - Human Resources (Part-Time)

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote with occasional on-site meetings)

Description:
Manage HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Advise leadership on labor compliance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience (contractor experience preferred).

Contractor - Accounting (Part-Time)

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote with possible on-site audits or meetings)

Description:
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial records and reporting.
  • Process payroll and vendor payments.
  • Assist with audits and tax filings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification preferred.

Lecturer (Adjunct Faculty)

  • Location: Hybrid (Primarily Online Teaching, with occasional in-person academic events)

Description:
Teach and develop courses in areas such as Hospitality, Leadership, Business, Civic Engagement, or Humanitarian Studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and online courses.
  • Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist with curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Previous university-level teaching experience preferred.

Mentor

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote with occasional in-person mentorship events)

Description:
Guide and support students throughout their academic journey, helping them set and achieve personal and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one virtual mentoring sessions.
  • Advise students on career and academic planning.
  • Support students’ personal growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Experience mentoring students or young professionals.

Brand Ambassador

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote with optional event attendance) | Flexible Hours

Promote Nation Builders University’s programs and mission to prospective students and the broader community.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent NBU at events (both online and in person).
  • Share NBU content and campaigns on social media platforms.
  • Engage prospective students and partners.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Passion for leadership, education, and global development.

Attorney - Legal Advisor (Contractor)

  • Location: Hybrid (Remote with occasional on-site legal meetings)

Description:

Provide expert legal advice on contracts, policies, compliance, and risk management for Nation Builders University.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and policies.
  • Advise on regulatory compliance.
  • Support governance and risk management efforts.

Requirements:

  • JD degree and active license to practice law.
  • 5+ years of experience (education or nonprofit law preferred).
